Ever thought about trying golf?....why not 'Get Into Golf' in 2013. Details of new courses available now for as little as £25 per person!

The Norfolk County Golf Partnership in partnership with Active Norfolk and the PGA, has organised a programme of workshops designed to develop the County's golf professionals and coaches.

The winners were announced at the BBC Radio Norfolk Active Norfolk's sixth annual Norfolk Sports Awards, where the cream of sporting achievement and service in 2012 were honoured at The Forum in Norwich on 7 November.

The Norfolk Sports Awards Judging Panel had an extremely difficult task, with a record year of over 450 nominations. And of those 450, 2 from Norfolk golf have been recognised for their work and shortlisted this year.

The England Golf Partnership (EGP) is inviting nominations for its annual awards which recognise, celebrate and reward outstanding volunteers in golf. Carol Delf, Chair of Norfolk County Golf Partnership is the current award winner for County Development whilst Bawburgh Golf Club are the current GolfMark Club of the Year holders.

The 7 Get Into ... golf courses on the Active Norfolk 'Get Into ...' programme have proved successful again and are full.

Norfolk County Golf Partnership (NCGP) in conjunction with Active Norfolk’s’ Fit4Work initiative held a business golf competition on the 9 hole golf course at Bawburgh Golf Club / Norwich Family Golf Centre.

Dereham Golf Club has been awarded GolfMark with High Achiever accreditation by England Golf at its first attempt.
