What is GolfMark?

A national scheme that identifies and recognises junior and beginner friendly golf facilities

Any golf club affiliated to England Golf may apply to gain the GolfMark Award
What is Clubmark?

It is a cross-sport accreditation for sports clubs with junior sections
-
It ensures accrediting partners apply core common criteria to ensure consistent good practice and a minimum operating standard in clubs

It enables parents/carers to make an informed choice when selecting a club for their children
-
It provides opportunities for organisations involved in sports to work together to support good practice in sports clubs working with children and young people
What does it cover?
There are 3 key areas that golf clubs need to be able to evidence:

Child Protection and Duty of Care
What are the Benefits?
Golf Clubs:

Recognition within the local community for the clubs' commitment to junior golf.
Promotion via the England Golf website.

Support & guidance from a County or Regional Development Officer through finding workshops, sharing best practice, reviewing current policies and procedures, writing child welfare documentation and much, much more.
